Planting succulents: step-by-step guide

Try to plant in mild, dry conditions to reduce overstressing the transplant. Be sure to grow your succulents in a location that meets the Recommended Light Requirements specified on the each succulent's product page.

Planting a Succulent

  1. Gently remove plant from its plastic container

  2. Loosen the root ball to encourage roots to spread

  3. Plant in a hole deep enough to completely cover the root ball

  4. Wait 3-7 days to water to minimize the chance of root rot (remember, only water succulents when the soil is completely dry)
